We are delighted to be working with Somerset Wildlife Trust to identify opportunities where we think we can have an impact in terms of reducing the chances of bovine TB reoccurring by vaccinating badgers.

Bovine TB is a disease of cattle which can be passed to other animals including deer, goats, pigs, sheep and badgers. By reducing the prevalence of bovine TB in badgers we would hope to reduce the potential likelihood of cattle reinfection.

We are at the start of the process, but we believe vaccinating badgers will be a useful contribution towards
helping to reduce the risks for both cattle and badgers from bovine TB.
