Is the government betraying public trust on bovine TB policy?

Badger Trust believes it is and has written an open letter to the Defra Secretary, George Eustice.

The letter claims the government is betraying public trust on its bovine TB policy.

It also outlines the trust’s concerns and calls for the government to take some key actions.

The trust has gained the support of several leading wildlife protection organisations and has asked for a meeting to discuss the issues raised at the earliest possible date.

But you can help too. Badger Trust is asking supporters to write to their MP with a copy of the letter.

To help you, we have copied the letter and made suitable adjustments. All you need to do is download it, top and tail, and post or email it to your local MP. Please read the letter first to make sure you are happy to put your name to it.

The letter is available in Word or PDF format.  If you’re using the PDF version, don’t forget to add your MP’s name and constituency.  You’ll also need to date the letter and add your name and address at the bottom.
